Sofinord, a family-owned holding company operating in BtoB services, is consolidating its position in the air transport sector by creating Aeria Airport Services, dedicated to airport services.
With its recognised experience in the airline sector, the Group is expanding its offer with a new entity dedicated to airport services: Aeria Airport Services.
Aeria assists airline professionals in managing the traveller experience. Perfectly harmonised with Sofinord's approach, its new airline division, Aeria, specialises in BtoB services (hospitality, orientation, control, ground handling, PRM (disability assistance), etc.) and places travellers at the heart of solutions. Aeria also draws on its experience in the airport sector and the Group's expertise in the hospitality business to assist all of its clients in their various air service needs. The versatility of its teams enables it to intervene in a wide range of services, including air terminals, and above all to be poised to face the numerous transformations in the airline sector.
This agility gives it the ability to be flexible, to anticipate and to adapt, by leveraging:
Aeria Welcome: for hospitality, orientation and information for travellers
Aeria Escale : for the check-in, boarding and disembarkation of travellers on their arrival and departure
Aeria Technique & Logistique: to take care of travellers from the public area to the post-security restricted area (baggage handling, trolley management, installation of barricades, etc.)
This investment is in line with the Group's ambitions for development and diversification, Sofinord is more than ever committed to reshaping its activities in response to the pandemic that has profoundly changed our environment.
Jean-Baptiste Thélot will take over the presidency of this new structure and will be supported by Karine Assuied, Aeria's Deputy Managing Director.
"This offer is in addition to the series of innovative concepts that we are developing and by virtue of which we will be able to conquer various markets. I am convinced that the excellence and prestige of the services we offer will bear their fruits and will grow in parallel with future demand for air travel" adds Patrick Thélot, Chairman of Sofinord.
