What are the responsibilities of a General Manager in Facility Management?

 

To deliver an outstanding experience to customers and staff, the General Manager makes sure he delivers a welcoming, safe and secure work environment. He oversees the delivery of a range of services as well as the supplier service and a program of events to build a community among the members.

 

They also need to maintain high standards of building repair and condition and to lead the circle of continuous improvement.

 

Responsible for the financial management of the space, they create budget and ensure the delivery of financial compliance and objectives.


 

To achieve this job, they absolutely need to be passionate about customer service, to have good networking skills and to be a problem solver. Sense of integrity, flexibility and health, safety and environmental knowledge are also required.
