The Sofinord group, Armonia's holding company, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Patrick Thélot, Chairman and Founder, announced that he would be handing over the presidency to his son, Jean-Baptiste Thélot, in September 2025. 

 

Jean-Baptiste Thélot, who has more than 10 years' experience at the helm of the ICTS France division, will be responsible for continuing the group's development. This transition marks a major turning point for Armonia, division of the Sofinord group, with a focus on innovation, internationalization and training, while reinforcing the social and environmental commitment initiated by his father. 

 

Patrick Thélot, who will remain Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said: 

“This handover represents half a century of human and entrepreneurial adventure. After 50 years of an incredible collective adventure, this is the ideal time to prepare for the future. For me, the choice of a family handover is both a great joy and a choice. With the unanimous support of his brothers and sisters, I am convinced that Jean-Baptiste will ensure the accelerated development of the Sofinord group”.

 

In taking over the reins of the group, Jean-Baptiste Thélot intends to build on the solid foundations laid by his father while injecting a new dynamic. 

 

“Investing in research and development is essential if we are to strengthen the group's position in terms of innovation and consolidate its position as a leader in the development of service businesses”.

This handover symbolises strong family continuity, looking to the future and driven by renewed ambitions for the Sofinord group and its Armonia division.
